MVH Provider since
Donald J. Grande, MD, FACMS, is a new Dermatology/Mohs provider at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Dr. Grande will be on site Mondays and Tuesdays to complete clinic visits and will be on site Fridays to complete Mohs procedures and lesion excisions.
Dr. Grande specializes in Mohs surgery, skin cancer, and provides additional medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services.
Dr. Grande, a retired colonel in the United States Air Force, is currently Chief, Division of Dermatology for MelroseWakefield Healthcare, and is also affiliated with Mystic Valley Dermatology Associates, P.C., with practices in Stoneham, MA and Salem, N.H.
He currently serves a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Boston University School of Medicine. He formerly served as the Vice Chairman of Dermatology at New England Medical Center before becoming the Chairman of Dermatology at Lahey Clinic.
Dr. Grande received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency in dermatology at Boston University Medical Center. His Fellowship training was at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he received specialized training in Mohs Surgery, Dermatologic and Reconstructive Surgery and Cutaneous Laser Surgery.
