COVID-19 testing no longer done at Martha's Vineyard Hospital
On March 3, 2023, our COVID Testing Tent will close. We recently stopped conducting COVID-19 drive-through testing, and now the tent itself will come down.
If you are having a procedures at MVH
If you are having a procedure at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital which requires a Covid lab test (PCR), the test will be arranged through the surgeon’s office.
If you are a primary care patient of MVH
If you are a Primary care patient at MVH and are having a procedure elsewhere which requires a PCR covid test, we will be happy to make an appointment in the primary care clinics for you to be tested.
If you are not a primary care patient at MVH and not having your procedure here
If you are not a primary care patient here and are not having your procedure here, please contact your surgeon or primary care provider for testing.

- Wednesday, January 12th beginning at 10:30 am @ the Aquinnah Town Hall
Chilmark
- Wednesday, January 12th from 9:30 am – 12 pm @ the Chilmark Landfill off North Tabor Road
- Thursday, January 13th from 4 – 6 pm @ the Chilmark Landfill off North Tabor Road
Edgartown
- Wednesday, January 12th from 9:30 am – 12 pm @ the Edgartown Fire Station (Robert’s Way entrance)
- Thursday, January 13th from 4 – 6 pm @ the Edgartown School (student drop-off area at the main entrance)
Residents must register through the town website.
Oak Bluffs
- Wednesday, January 12th from 9:30 am – 12 pm @ the Oak Bluffs Town Hall (temporary trailers)
- Thursday, January 13th from 4 – 6 pm @ the Oak Bluffs Town Hall (temporary trailers)
Tisbury
- Wednesday, January 12th from 9:30 am – 12 pm @ the Tisbury Board of Health office
- Thursday, 4 to 6 p.m. at the Emergency Services building to serve residents who are unable to pick up kits during working hours.
West Tisbury
- Wednesday, January 12th from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm @ the West Tisbury Town Hall
- Thursday, January 13th from 4 – 6 pm @ the West Tisbury Public Safety Building
