Dr. Chen has 30-plus years of experience in internal medicine with specialty in Hematology.

Dr. Chen, who is one of the few physicians who wear bow ties to work, had a solo practice from 1992 to 2024, first in Walpole, then in Foxboro. Dr. Chen was Internist/Hematologist-Oncologist for Medical East Community Health Plan in Norwood from June 1990 to August 1992, and also was an instructor in Pathology at Harvard Medical School for the Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston. From July 1988 to June 1990, Dr. Chen was Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, for the Division of Experimental Medicine, New England Deaconess Hospital, Boston.
